As of today, 4th December 2012, Groups within Wicklow Cardiac First Responders can now apply to the National Ambulance Service to be considered as Community First Responder Schemes-Enhanced and will be dispatched to Cardiac Arrest, Choking, Chest Pain and Stroke Emergency calls. A number of Community First Responder Groups applied today and the remaining CFR  Groups will be applying over the coming weeks.
