Bridget Sinnott from the Irish Heart Foundation was in Carnew on Tuesday July 29th to present Carnew First Responders with a Heartsafe Community Award. This award is in recognition of the steps that Carnew have taken to become a heartsafe community. Carnew First Responders have strengthened the chain of survival in their community by training representatives from local organisations in C.P.R and the use of defibrillators.
