Now the result has ‘gone viral’, with 2 million people watching Vinnie’s training film online. The film features Vinnie Jones explaining how to give Hands-only CPR to the beat of the Bee Gees’ Stayin’ Alive. It’s backed up by a shorter TV ad and has prompted thousands of people to download alife-saving mobile app and buy limited-edition t-shirts. Knockananna Community First Responders are holding a Fundraising Evening on Saturday the 22nd of December 2012 in the Wagon Wheels, Knockananna, Co. Wicklow. Come along and support. Back on call
As of today, 4th December 2012, Groups within Wicklow Cardiac First Responders can now apply to the National Ambulance Service to be considered as Community First Responder Schemes-Enhanced and will be dispatched to Cardiac Arrest, Choking, Chest Pain and Stroke Emergency calls. A number of Community First Responder Groups applied today and the remaining CFR Groups will be applying over the coming weeks.
